Food and Drug Law

Stuart TenHoor began his focus on placing FDA lawyers in 2009, several months before he became a member of FDLI.  His baseline experience as a legal search consultant (since 1988) adds significant value to those food and drug lawyers searching for better employment options.  And Stuart regularly consults with various types of employers seeking needed FDA legal talent.

Since the number of food and drug attorneys capable of creating or expanding law firm FDA practices is relatively small, the demand for those available remains strong and has continued to increase. Further, since approximately 25% of every consumer dollar spend in the U.S. is for products regulated by the FDA, it is certain that demand will remain strong for top food and drug legal talent.

In 2023, Stuart re-published An Overview of Food and Drug Law Practices for an FDLI publication -- Update Magazine -- which analyzes the law firm opportunities for food and drug attorneys.  Stuarts involvement in (FDLI) is extensive.  He regularly sponsors its annual meeting and Enforcement conferences and has been part of multiple career meetings and webinars sponsored by FDLI.  His most recent FDLI event was in September 2021, entitled “Navigating Your Life Science Legal Career in 2021 and Beyond.”

As of December 2021, STLS has placed more than 50 FDA attorneys (see testimonial tab for partial list), noteworthy including an entire law firm FDA practice group
